I purchased this because I wanted something smaller for my desktop, the sound is much better than anything of similar size and I can take it with me on trips. I use it with both my iPod and my iPhone and like that it automatically synchs the time with my iPhone.

THE UNIT PICTURES IS THE ORIGINAL LUNA IPOD ALARM CLOCK WITH THIS DESCRIPTION: Meet Luna, the world's most intelligent alarm clock for iPod. Luna puts a new spin on traditional alarm clocks by letting you customize your sleeping and waking experience. Plus, it delivers outstanding audio throughout the day from two precision speakers and a two-channel amplifier. With Luna's user-friendly controls you can simply set the basic alarm function and be done, or you can customize settings like alarm volume, display brightness, snooze time and much more. Keep it simple or customize it all--with Luna, the choice is yours.
I have one and it is a great bedside system. Its large led read out and large control buttons make it handy to operate--plus it comes with a remote. The sound is more than adequate for a bedroom and the ipod dock works flawlessly. The other reviews do not do this system justice. For the money, it beats most. |

| I bought this unit for my son for Christmas for use with his Ipod Nano 5G. According to the Apple website, these two products are compatible. However, when my 10-year old plugged it in with much excitement on Christmas morning, the unit did not work. After multiple attempts to call XtremeMac (aka Memorex), their phone lines were too busy to put my call in the queue, and I had to keep calling back. This was my first clue that this was not going to have a happy ending.... I finally contacted a real person, who promptly hung up on me. I called back again only to be disconnected, again. On the third attempt, I talked to a real person who told me that my problem was that the unit was not compatible with the Nano 5G! The hot Nano currently being sold by Apple. What! Since there is actually nothing wrong with the unit, I am not able to return it. The extremely polite Indian man informed me that this was my problem, not his. He does have a very good point. However, I did wish him good luck in getting a new job when his current employer went out of business due to poor customer service. The bottom line is do not buy any product made by XtremeMac. |

| The photo depicts the Xtrememac Luna, not the Xtreme Luna Voyager. Don't be confused as I was. The voyager is much smaller and does not come with a remote. The musical quality is abysmal. I will return this item to the vendor. I expected to receive the Luna, I had no idea the Voyager even existed. The ad is misleading, though no doubt a mistake. |
